Bonnie Hutzell

I grew up in the 50's and watched this movie as a child. It is still a favorite! It is full of humor, great characters, and civil war trajedy but brings out "there should be a better way of settling things!" Another plus factor is the beautiful filming of the inviting Indiana countryside.

My response after watching this painfully slow, boring movie...why? Why would anyone find this story worthy of the big screen? I guess we are in the age when if it has to do with homosexuality it must be produced so that it appears those involved are open minded and all accepting or they are projecting their lifestyle. Enough already...been there, already seen that!!!
