A prominent guru in the world of 80's LA fitness faces replacement as she turns 50. TV executives seek a younger face for their audience. In a twist of fate, Elizabeth Sparkles is granted the chance to regain her lost youth through an experimental drug known as the substance. However, with this opportunity come certain rules that must be followed. What could possibly go wrong? This body horror film draws inspiration from the unique style of David Cronenberg and the visual panache of Stanley Kubrick and nods to other 80’s movies . Demi Moore gives a great performance along with her costars. I loved it on the big screen.

It went in a such a ridiculous direction. It could have been good without the far fetched cheesy storyline. It made no sense It was plain stupid and I am happy I didn’t pay to see it in theatres.

I really enjoyed his reboot and it was refreshing to see Rob Zombie create a fun tribute. The colours and sets where nice and all the characters where very fun. A fun movie for the whole family

I highly recommend to see this movie in Imax. Stan the man, the genius creator of many universes bring us for a ride into a reflection of our own humanity and its complex facets. All the emotions starting by fear, cruelty, sadness, empathy or no empathy and love. James Gunn with the great cast, team and crew really pushed the envelope on the human crisis in an enjoyable fantasy space ride. the sets where amazing and the action sequences where just incredible. I actually teared up several times and good thing for the humour as it actually got very dark, and violent at times with another villain with a god complex. Once again an amazing soundtrack to add to your playlist. It was eye candy for the soul. I give it a 5/5 10/10
