Firstly,BBC breakfast is excellent. I am however very disappointed with the BBC in their programs in which rabbits are shown in unsuitable accomodations.
Recently Stacy Solomons program in which she relocated rabbits from a conservatory to outside hutch ,totally unacceptable and against good animal care and providing bad information to the public.
Secondly before Christmas the program on Rob Burrows, who very sadly has mnd.It shows his daughter throwing museli food for a rabbit which is housed in a small hutch/run no space , company hay didn't even look at the rabbit let alone speak to it.Rob himself sadly knows what it is like to be totally reliant on other people for his care , should realize what that rabbits life is like. They have a large garden, big enough to provide everything it needs .These people should look at the Rabbit Welfare Association website and learn what is needed ,if they are unable to do that ,then they should rehome the rabbit's to someone who can.Come on BBC how about doing a program on Rabbit welfare and and the good work the Rabbit Welfare Association do .
