The first film was amazing and I was genuinely excited to see this, what a complete disappointment. This feels like a hastily crafted sequel, its only redeeming quality are the visual effects which I think are very impressive . A massive own goal scored here as the first film left with so so many possibilities. Lazy and unimaginative, a pathetic attempt at character building, completely unbelievable and silly plot line. Spoiler alert: A Village armed with a scattering of guns, axes and scythes with 2 days to dig in and train, plus a robot with antlers, face off a coal powered intergalactic warship, professional army, Heavy War machines, to be saved by sheer luck a bomb goes off at the perfect millisecond, and rebel fleet randomly turn up to polish off..... No no no, shame!
