It is hard to believe that the ignorance, hatred and prejudice is still with us in the 21st century. Loving presents the feel and the culture of the times (late 1950s) in a factual manner. It might be hard to believe for those who did not live in Virginia during those times but I can assure it is an accurate portrayal; one that we should all be able to learn lessons from and apply those lessons to many different but, in principal, same circumstances.
