I love Tom Hanks and since it was rated pg-13 I took my daughter and her friend. My parents also came and we unfortunately experienced the first suicide attempt in the movie with my brother. There were funny moments but the sad outweighed that funny and we ended up leaving early. Acting was wonderful but it definitely should not be rated PG -13. It was triggering bringing up past hurt. The trailer for the movie depicts it as funny and just a grumpy old man but it was so much more than just a grumpy old guy. Don't take your child to see this movie.
