This movie would be a three if not for the stamp of authenticity offered by the family and the strong lead performance. It is enjoyable enough for those of us who are old enough to remember these events or if you have researched and know the whole story. If you have not done this research or are a young person you will not be told why there was conflict in Jamaica or why Bob Marley was so important in that conflict. You will not understand why people are shooting at Bob Marley over his role in that conflict except that "no one wants him to do the Unity concert." Some of this could have been filled in with just a little narration from Ziggy or the family, which would have added to the irie feel of the movie. Not bad, not great.
