Good acting. Bad storytelling. What did the Forensic account discover? Who were the bad guys? What happened to them? Why were they hell-bent on killing the people even when they're "fading away"?
Not sure if it was poor editing or an incomplete story. This was definitely not great! The kid did amazing acting!
