Not impressed…
Marty Byrde is played by J. Bateman who looks much more natural in comedies and here he obviously struggles to deliver an excellent result, therefore his acting feels flat, he lacks charisma and depth like many other characters. Very often it feels ridiculous or you just do not believe it. There is no tension, no real drama. The episode when the boss of the Mexican drug cartel kills Marty’s friends one after another is one of the examples. It looks artificial and forced…
