This is was one of the most depressing movies I've watched. Especially, for a DC movie. It was a mix of Shawshank Redemption ( without the happy ending) and a musical no one ever wanted; zero continuity. If you want to spend your money making yourself feel unhappy and miserable, go see this movie. However, if you feel like life is hard enough, without wasting your money trying to make your 2 plus hours feel miserable and depressing..than nix going to see this movie.

I have to agree with some other reviewers, regarding why did this movie received bad reviews?!? It was way more funnier and entertaining than modern mystery 1. I honestly didn't really like the first one. I also couldnt finish his Halloween one because I felt it was utterly terrible. I wasn't even going to watch this one because of those previous movies. However, I ended up having some free time while traveling and I wanted to watch something. Turned out to be a great decision! Adam Sandler had the zest and energy that he use to have in his earlier movies. His last comedy movies didn't match the humor that he had earlier on. This however, felt like his older comedies. He was just naturally funny, where the jokes didnt feel forced. Recommend this, if you are an original Adam Sandler fan.
