Only took me two years to watch this movie glad I finally did. What a wonderful tale of cruelty and kindness. I usually can pick out the killer with about 80% accuracy but I was wrong all along through this movie. I had two suspects and I was wrong on all accounts. The last 5-10 mins I thought well finally one of the clues would be found but it wasn’t until the very end where the actual killer was revealed. Highly recommend this movie if you like the old time feel movies and a movie about more kindness shown than cruelty.

Honestly I do not know how I missed this movie in 2011 when it came out. I came across it watching YouTube shorts and I kept seeing small shorts with different scenes. The next night I googled what the movie was and found out where to watch it. The cast was absolutely amazing. The story was so poignant and in 2024 it so hard to imagine a world where people were treated this way. I am not naive to think it never happened at all by any means. It just shows how strong willed people can be when pushed to far and how so many ugly people still exist in this world. I guess I have always thought that yes there is evil in the world on so many levels but I would never nor would I have ever treated people that way. I guess that is why I relate to Skeeter so much in this movie. My hope is whoever has watched this movie then , now or in the future is a lot kinder to their fellow human being. Because that is what we all are. Imagine if we were all the same what a boring world this would be. I would rate this higher than 5 stars if I could!
