It was decent. If you are an average movie-goer without a special interest in quantum physics, history, or politics, don’t bother going. It’s a very long movie with lots of somewhat boring dialogue. Still worth watching to see what all the hype is about, but watching it at home in two pieces after it comes out on streaming would’ve been a more enjoyable experience. It also would have helped to know the timeline of his life before seeing the film. It bounces around a lot. It advertised showing Oppenheimer’s relationships, and it did to an extent, but only on a very superficial level. You really don’t learn anything about the characters’ personalities. Everyone feels kind of… flat and boring, they way they do in older movies. It was also pretty loud in the theater. Not sure if that’s the movie’s fault or the theater’s fault.
