I can’t improve the comment of Tim Philo earlier. This is a travelogue of drunks in France and Spain. It’s as if Hemingway wanted to show off his knowledge of European geography. The bullfighting scenes did provide some information. Lady Ashley comes across as an attractive airhead. Lots of short, choppy sentences going nowhere.
