Having watched this the show about this family awhile ago it portrayed their daughter getting misdiagnosed for years before they they got the right help. The father was acting the same then as he is now and I was not surprised to hear he left them all 200 miles behind. The boy was just a baby then and she was as focused on keeping her in the home as she is now with them both. This episode has changed my love of Dr. Phil. He is exploitive and I can not continue watching with the same love..
