Not impressed really, it was just awkward and weird/uncomfortable maybe because of the cultural divide. If the roles were switched (if the girl was a creepy obsessive hyper stalker guy) the story wouldn’t be so romanticized. And it’s just really uncomfortable to see how the main character guilt tripped the boy to “love her” by committing all these borderline personality acts of of guilt tripping on every one around her but it’s portrayed to be “romantic?” Maybe it’s cute for some but it’s just it’s romanticized in a really bad way. There are nice moral lessons other than this, but it’s not has as deep and creative as Hayao Miyazaki’s films which are almost always satisfying to watch.
