As good as the Boys, and on many new dimensions they pursued, maybe surprisingly better. It was good to see good guys, for one. The connection to Marvels New Mutants and X-Men concepts was fantastic and subtle. And I think the way some of the powers are connected to peoples own psychological traumas was very new and hadn’t been explored. I didn’t think the blood power could possibly work and it did. Honestly looking forward to season 2 more than I am season 4 of the Boys. I’d been completely burnt out on super hero stuff from MCU overkill so this was an unexpected surprise.
