Not a single true BLM horse in the movie - none of them have the telling freeze brand. This is fake as it gets. The horse "training" methods are Hollywood's idea of animal training...with lots of fake whinning, rearing, etc. It's painful to watch when you know about horses, especially mustangs. The introductory statement conveniently leaves out the thousands of mustangs that are adopted every year, and instead focuses on euthanization and long term captivity. This movie could have been so much more, but it sadly falls short of being an ambassador for these important programs and good horsemanship. If you know about horses and mustangs, dont sit through an agonizing hour of fakery. If you don't know anything about horses, you wont notice all the inaccuracies, but you'll be biased by the film's message.
