The Wild Pear Tree is definitely a masterpiece. Its 188 minute span makes it a little bit too lengthy. After the movie finished, I felt really confused by the non-linearity of the film's plot, but after a few days its message really got absorbed into my head. I wouldn't say I recommend it to everyone though, because the Turkish film genre (together with Nuri Bilge Ceylan's own style) wouldn't appease all audiences. However, if you're a deep thinker (and you have some 3 hours to spare lol), I would definitely tell you to consider watching it.
