I didn't know this movie even existed before I found it on Amazon Prime! The animation is breathtaking. It's a bit more of a kids movie although if it's ever getting an American release it would probably be edited for some of the cultural differences. It also has some great action and even a great battle! I really didn't expect that from the beginning tone it gave me. Almost like My Neighbor Totoro but if Totoro took them to outer space! Such imagination and creativity went into creating alien worlds, people, food and their culture. It really was amazing and I loved it!
