It felt like Eddie Murphy tickets of a back seat to this this new movie. It was nice seeing the old cast again but I think this is the nail in the coffin for Beverly hills cop. It was less detective work . Wish they actual show axel Foley using his skills. This time around it seems subpar. Granted that everybody's old and you can't do everything. I wish they show stripper bar scene with the new detective. Instead making a joke about it. Taggard's is so out of character after 40 years of friendship. He became bureaucrat like his former boss. Billey being kidnapped strange seems kinda lame plot. It was still pretty fun movie. Nothing tops parts 1,2,3 Beverly hills cop.
