Jimmy Kimmel should step down from hosting the show. His apology for performances done in blackface in his past I do believe is genuine. However with our united effort in the BLM movement today, our calling out for racial and social justice and equality it's just not enough. Actions speak louder than words. CEO's, celebrities, media host, politicians and everyday people who have come forward having had or participated in similar scenarios at a time in their past school life or careers are an example to follow. Those who have the privilege of being in the public eye with a position of status have stepped up to take personal responsibility in both apologizing and resigning or stepping down from positions to show that it does matter. Today words are not enough.
