Have not read the book but the screen play on Netflix was horrible… think this would have been better as a series…the chemistry between the characters just came out the blue and seemed too intense too soon… not enough backstory on the orphanage to fully explain their trauma bond… and NOTHING to explain how the trauma bond suddenly became healthy enough for them to end up together and become parents. Totally weird how the boy in high school became so obsessed and the sexual tension was just too much with so little background. I think people who read the book may enjoy it better but this was just weird.
