For this particular genre of film, I expected the traditional revenge movie formula. While, this is exactly what you get, you get something rarely accomplished these days. I was surprised, not the Sixth Sense, type of surprise something more shocking. All I can say, really without spoilers is the casting was phenomenal, the story however simple it was expertly executed. I am thinking Quentin Tarantino held a masters class and South Korea not only attended, but ACED the course.

Beating the Odds Honestly, I did not think this anime could hold my interest after season one. The Berserker Mode final battle, the pounding rock back track and visually stunning CGI animation. Which has come a long way from the AJIN days. I like being apart of the joke. "Chinese Anime" FYI: Sony and Bilibili signed an agreement for the expansion of anime, in case people wonder about the style of this anime. The music, well we know, Bilibili is the place for AMV's, so no surprise the music editing was on point. I have to say, that the theme song of the second season is eerily reminiscence of Stranger Things. (The Daily Life of the Immortal King Season 2 Opening Full Liao Jialin)..Nice EDM. If, nothing else this anime shows how important music can be to animation. (The Daily Life of the Immortal King/Xian Wang De Ri Chang Sheng Huo Opening 1080p) This song was meant for a Movie, in my opinion, so much bigger than the anime. I guess now we will see if politics will trump Art in the continued success of this anime.
