Good representation of the book. After reading the critics, I really dreaded watching. But it was good. It was spot on about rural poverty, abuse,
and addiction whether in Appalachia, Ohio, or in my part of the world- the Ozarks. While movies like this show only one view of the population- (Lost Child, Winter's Bone) they do show the truth we all know exists. Not everyone in these areas lives this way, but enough do to make it seem very familiar.
