While this movie may not meet your standards of literary work. However no one can deny the things that were in the film actually took place in real life regardless of the year the place or the person's involved.
It's a shame our life's works are scrutinized by other people's views, opinions, and mindsets. We should look at this work for what it presented along with what we know in reality really happened.
I say go Kiki do your thing regardless of the naysayers because people are always going to have something to say, it doesn't matter if you are professional critic or amateur opinionated person.
The issue is no one really wants to know or relive the truth. This was a gut wretching movie, a reminder that we are not too far from where we came. Just know on our best day we can be reminded in so many ways of how we once were treated
and devauled by this world.
So, to all you professional critics, writers, bloggers, and just opinionated persons, this movie is not about politically correct not about filmmaking correctness although we need those things. However we also need to see the things that were happening in the movie actually did occur in real slavery let's look at that and move forward.
