So basically Hollywood has moved on from romanticizing the sxl assault of enslaved people, and then children, to now romanticizing the sxl assault of developmentally disabled people.
I guess the natural progression of things.
This movie was uncomfortable to watch given the fact that they explicitly wrote a lead character with brain damage - and their being taken advantage of sexually by "normally" functioning males, then repeating common phrases of abuse victims "he doesn't mean it", "it will get better", etc.
I hope that I never find a movie like this "entertaining" or feeling that it "sits right" with me. That is when I know I have become the kind of person that I don't want to be.
