Great engaging storyline, keeps you hooked till the end. The irritating part was too much emphasis on Brody's ungrateful wife and his narcissist, eccentric, problematic daughter in the initial seasons. A family that is enjoying all the privileges given by a dad who put his life on the line for the country, came back terribly scarred was only bothered about themselves and continuously blaming the victim. No one bothered about what Brody had gone through in captivity, but everyone was busy finding their own spot and blaming him for everything. While the CIA tried to use him, a confused Carrie was pursuing him as well as using him romantically. And then they finished him off at the end of season 3 which was worse in the most selfish possible way without caring a bit about his family or him, is that even allowed in a democracy. Even the character of Carrie was so much erratic and psychotic, that it seemed too artificial for an intelligence officer. Many things were inaccurate or misrepresented, for example a girl in Pakistan belonging to a Muslim family is named Kiran, shows the amount of shoddy research they do on Asians. They kill children, they bomb processions and they justify it.End of the story, I was still left bewildered, confused as to what they wanted to show in Homeland.
