Devastating and important. Residential schools are not history, they are living trauma, and one of the many ways the crown carried out (and continues to carry out) genocide. I watched this movie as a teenager in a class that is not taught in all public schools in so called Canada. It was tough to watch, but after all, there is nothing easy to watch about genocide.
