I haven’t read reviews here, but I’ll add mine. This movie is amazing for those that have played Mario games. You honestly will like it as well if you haven’t, as it’s a good story based on the general plot line of all Mario games: Mario vs. Bowser. PLEASE READ: I have seen that rotten tomatoes reviews this at 56% at the time I am posting this. Do not listen to them. The people giving bad reviews on there have clearly never played/experienced ANY Mario games, given that about 6 games are referenced across the whole movie. If you are a Mario fan, regardless of your age, you will LOVE this movie. An expansion on the basic plot line of all Mario games is amazing to watch and experience. Do not listen to those saying it will barely please a pre-teen audience, especially given I had a 50-year old couple to my right, and some senior college guys to my left. You will absolutely love this movie if you understand everything. If not, I believe you will still very much enjoy it, and that the ticket is worth it :)
