DEFINITELY WORTH WATCHING
I wouldn't lie, watching the first few episodes I was like nah this ain't good... but something got me wanting to know more, you know, that's the essence of watching a series, right?
Now, to be honest, I've seen a lot of shows, some about family/society and stuff but trust me, this opened my eyes to a lot of things. This show addresses so many things at once. Man, I just can't believe it. It's a whole package.
For instance...
1. First one and most important should be chasing goals/success/securing the bag and forgetting who it is you're really working for. I mean, at the end of season 1 I really felt Leila. That girl goes through a lot. Despite all the money, she's lonely, and not the lowkey lonely, she's totally alone. Same to Olivia.
2. Family - A united family is really important.
3. Infidelity and it's repercussions to the family.
4. Addictions - Olivia's struggle.
5. Knowing what to say and when to say it. Some things are better left unsaid.
6. Identity - Coop.
7. Forgiveness (It's like the whole series is about this)
8. Dead-beat dads suck btw.
9. Talent - Spencer J.
10.Gang stuff - you can bet.
etc etc
It deserves more than a 7 rating. If you haven't watched it yet, do so.
