Good game. Major potential. Abandoned?
First off. Most of the popular reviews are from confused people or people who haven’t really played the game. I started playing 2013 it was a pretty cool game... i said when i saw it on the app store probably looking for some free minecraft. Much simpler times. By 2015 the game was doing good. The community was nice, the developers posted updates and the game just got better and better because of it. Around 2016/2017 they changed the interface/ added it to steam/ added models. With models you could not only MAKE cool stuff for people to SEE, but you could SELL cool stuff for people to BUY. Wow this was so cool. Earn coins from making cool stuff. You could pretty much buy anything you needed pre-made. I thought that was really cool. What would happen next? Multiplayer? Really cool new items? Well as 2017 became 2018 kinda small updates, bad ones (worse premium [see below], star ratings instead of likes and publish cooldowns.) And as 2018 became 2019 people noticed no content updates happened for a while. Were they planning a huge giganto update? We waited and waited but none. Blocksworld is slowly becoming chaos. It started with a “leaked/hacked texture able to obtain from buying from somebody. This lead to a a-lot of stuff being hacked in game A LOT. Aswell as a big glitch that prevented people from posting worlds/models. The only way to fix it is to redownload the game. All the fans want answers. We have called for linden but nothing. This game looks like its heading into the abyss of games that don't get played. Though it is unlikely, I wish they could fix all of this maybe even sell the game. But hey maybe that will happen.
Summary: started out as a good game. Good community. SUPER POTENTIAL. Started to get less loved. Abandoned.
Edit: Is it free to play? Yes. If you play it at least 5 times a week, And just check in. Get you daily prize. Maybe build a thing. I do agree the premium (alot of infinite blocks) was better as a one time fee. I also didnt like the publish cooldown.
