The premise had potential. End of the world and what not. But between the stupidity of the children, the lack of any thrill in this โthrillerโ, and an ending that wouldโve gotten a failing grade on a middle school English assignment; this film is truly awful. Not to mention the random racial undertones that probably werenโt present in the book, lol. Much better ways to spend 2 hours, like reading a 20 year old newspaper.
