I liked this at first but now it's getting pretty useless to watch. I get that they feel they have to conform to a different part of society for some things given they live in a different setting and environment, let alone their mixed skin color and different decade. But I feel like they're giving up almost everything they practiced, believed in, and cherish. Everything they practically built the foundation of their lives on. What happened to being yourself, and to hell with others who don't accept you, for who you are? I get it on the commune there were no cell phones but it doesn'tean you have to give up a holiday you are used to celebrating or a event you are used to participating in. I get it things are different. But not everything about you needs to change and be different. Keep something that is still apart of your unique family tradition.

This was messed up. I got 49 minutes in and had to turn it off. It was just so awful. That catholic scene was preposterous and extremely offensive. The movie kept getting more and more cringy as time went on. No one would ever do this. It's like they took it a thousand steps further from The Proposal which was a good movie. This entire film was centered around Jlo and pushed everyone else's purpose for existing in the movie aside, which tends to happen when an actor writes and produces their own film and stars in it. I know it's a fiction rom com but nothing about this film was funny or romantic. No one would do this in real life. This film only exposes how very out of touch celebrities are and how all about the exposure they are. Opposites don't attract. Also how inviting social media in your life and seeking fame is your problem, your risk, don't involve others so you can save face, especially those who are aware how toxic social media is. You don't go intruding someone's life to get back at your ex. If this film portrays anything it's how toxic influencers and celebrities are and how far they would go to avoid dealing with their issues.
