I have just finished reading Decrim: How We Decriminalized Drugs in British Columbia by Kennedy Stewart. He is an articulate and compelling writer. It is at times a difficult book to read because it involves the reality of people who are addicted to various drugs and many do not survive. But it is also completely engrossing. There is much to know about the decision making process that governments at all level go through. It is indeed a challenge to get change made, but change did come to Vancouver. Thank you Kennedy for your willingness to carry on despite the odds and thank you for taking us with you on that journey in your excellent book.
