Too much drama in the lives of Kolkata police and fit & thin officers doesn't make it look real. Too many un-necessary sub plots makes it boring. Camera work is pathetic with poor post processing, except the aerial shots which shows the city beautifully. Just like any other Zee5 series, this keeps dragging on and on. Some sub-plots like Raju's childhood, Meera's family drama, Gouranga's overacting, Suranjan's first case at Haridevpur PS etc all added to the viewing time. The plot had everything starting from sex rackets, murders, actions, bloodbath, 3 honey traps, funny sequences, revenges, cyber crime, murder by minors, illicit affairs but failed to click. We kept waiting to see more screen time of Sabyasachi (DC), Subrata Dutt (DC Port), Arindol Bagchi. All in all, a story which had its promise failed to click because of poor direction, screenplay and acting. Gourab Chakraborty, Sauraseni Mitra and Ronjini Chakraborty shined although I would have loved if we had heard Ronjini's own voice in the bengali version which is otherwise dubbed by actor Payel Sarkar. Climax is very very poorly executed and everything happened in last 18 minutes, giving a clear hint of a season 2 where we will see what happens with Meera & Maya's daughter and who RS actually is.
