This is such a rubbish series. Thrown into the pot is every possible cliché; Every stale, debunked myth; Every shallow, offensive, two-dimensional racial or cultural stereotype; Truly garbage CGI that discards the actual physics of flight in favour of drama and sensationalism; lazy, predictable script. What is left out are real, human characters (ok, with a couple of exceptions), coherent storyline or plot, and any attempt to break new ground in portraying the experience of ww2 in an authentic way - realistic gore is not enough for this. This in total contrast to the excellent “Band of Brothers” and “The Pacific” with which “Masters of the Air” seems to be being compared to. There is no comparison. “Master of the Air” is squarely in the zone occupied by the equally garbage “Pearl Harbour”, “Midway”, “Greyhound” etc pumped out in cheap CGI to make an easy buck.
