I’m 18 years old and I genuinely feel that this book isn’t just for young kids, I wasn’t sure if I’d like it at first but I loved it so much and I went through many emotions from joy to uncertainty to sadness to fear to relief. The themes have a way of engaging you, keeping you on the edge of your seat and during the middle of the story, I couldn’t put the book down and I was surrounded by the story. The book is very descriptive so not only can you visualize the characters and setting but you can understand why the characters feel a certain way and look a certain way. Some of the descriptions of scenes made my hairs stand and I had to remind myself that it wasn’t real because the author does such a good job at describing things in a way where you’re almost a part of the story. I had cried multiple times while reading the book and that has never happened before. The author summarized the book well, I have some questions about the ending but for the most part everything made sense. If you’re considering a mystery/thriller/fiction book then I highly recommend The Circus of Stolen Dreams.
