I have so many questions, and none of them are good. The 3rd Matrix movie was obviously such a horrendous failure that someone thought a "resurrection" might do the franchise some good. Instead, they essentially buried the entire franchise forever... The main character is neutered, the villain isn't given any depth, the callbacks are contrived, and the world doesn't feel like it's evolved. Alas, if you have love for the actors and the sense of nostalgia, watch the first 10 minutes and you'll be left with a better feeling than if you finish the film. One can only hope that if they try to make another film that they will find the soul of the original, I wouldn't bet on it.
