Matthew Chambers (The Gaming Goat)

Spoilers! So to start my review I want people to know I am not as much as a die hard residents evil fan as much as others. However I care a lot about this franchise both movies and games. It's a great shame that this series is so poorly written. So for starts this doesn't not feel anything like residents evil but more like a teen drama series set in an apocalyptic universe. I find the flash backs to be rather annoying and I can't stand the two teen versions of Billie and Jade as they just seem selfish, annoying and ignorant. However Wesker is brilliant and Lance Reddick does a fantastic job especially with the school meeting scene. However that's the only saving grace for this show. Umbrella seems like it does not care about security even after the original Raccoon city accident as the two girls can easy brake into a facility with no security and let loose a dog. It's just feels so stupid and a let down. It's just so frustrating to see writers that are either not caring or not knowing anything about the franchise they are writing for. This can be seen in writing such as Picard, Obi Wan, Halo and Boba Fett. I wouldn't waste you're time watching this when you can watch Stranger Things Season 4.
