Great production design and acting. It started off strong but by the middle of season one just fizzled out. It became too predictable, the characters were inconsistent and the writing was weak. The episode where suddenly the Shelby's Father appears out of nowhere, living in the same town, whereas previously there's no mention of him, and then just as sudden he's out of the story was just a totally unnecessary. And Thomas Shelby's strategies and decisions just didn't seem to make any logical sense. But each time, they'd seemingly blow up in his face and in the end he'd find a way to make it all work out for him. Just got too silly. Got as far as the first episode of season 2 and gave up.
