I am a huge Elvis fan. I was very skeptical about some almost unknown actor taking on the role of Elvis. I was very impressed. While some of the instances in the movie were added for dramatic effect, it was a pretty darn good portrayal of Elvis. The movie started out a little slow, but then picked up speed. Elvis fans can tell that in the early part of the movie, it was not Elvis singing. The later part you could tell that Elvis's voice was used.
