It's lazy writing, the show was already, the cast was perfect, but the personalites and potential for the characters and story was disappointing. Sad to say, Amazon Prime series, The Boys, was better viewing than this, it all felt rushed with unnecessary plots, side stories, background stories and unless dialogue and characteristics. A lot of it didn't make sense and poorly performance to the show itself to the point nothing made sense, season 1 was good, introducing the characters and starting off their journey, but after season 1, it just went down hill. There was no progress in character development or power development, everyone was just standing around, talking shit to each other and unnecessary battle that seems it shouldn't have been in the story. It could have been better with character development and more action with more villains coming up instead of one or two in the series, but nah. That's all I have to say. Mainly it's just lazy writing.
