To me, the shows just seems to handhold its audience through anything that seems dangerous to the characters. Ahsoka is probably the most hand held because none of her decisions seem to really have consequences, like this latest episode. She literally uses the dark side to defeat Anakin’s force ghost but somehow learned that by not killing him that she learned that doesn’t cause death and destruction by fighting him (you would think the strike me down thing would be better, actually not attacking back for the sake of no death)? That’s what kills me the most, there seems to be no consequence for any action. You think that with all the talk about Ahsoka experimenting and even using the dark side at some points in the show that she might actually fall prey to it, but three visions and a fight later she is wearing white like she’s Gandalf herself, somehow becoming more powerful with her abilities and thankfully showing actual emotion five episodes in. It just seems very cheap considering Luke’s journey, Anakin's redemption (which seems pointless now since he can switch dark and light on and off), Obi-Wans steadfast determination to the light, and so many others to have the show just hand it all to Ahsoka like it was meant to be. The live actions clone wars bits were alright but definitely looked like it need a lot more time to smooth it out. Find something better to watch in my honest opinion. PS. Idk if that’s Anakin’s force ghost but maybe it is. Seems more likely that it is.
