We thought it was brilliant and probably the best since the original film and the James Cameron sequel, Aliens. It was tense throughout and it was great to spot the subtle references to the previous films throughout. Thoroughly recommend seeing this for Alien fans and those new to the franchise. 5/5.

Very well made film and scenes of science leading to the bomb are gripping. However, the hours of wordy interrogation during the McCarthy witch-hunt get tedious and actually quite boring. We won’t see it again.
