This is like a movie my teenaged son and daughter and their friends would make at 2am during a sleepover. 2 stars only for the cool body horror part with the tickets. That was neat.

Like a pop song you wanna hate but gets stuck in your head. Not as dark as the book or original and vastly different. Matinee or Redbox it at best. Fun? You betcha.

Get Out was over-hyped but far more enjoyable than this drivel. The racist undertones are apparent and also, the "plot -twist" at the end was transparent from the get-go. The underlying theme of peoples rising from the oppression of poverty, classism, etc to gain the "American Dream" is eye-rolling, at best.
