The way in which this program is structured is enough to trigger an epileptic fit. It jumps all over the place in a way that appears designed to disable the viewer's critical faculties. It seems to be based on the premise that since there is a paucity of evidence around the 'last hours' of Hitler, you can embark on a wild fantasy based on no evidence at all. I became so concerned about the objectivity and credibility of the numerous 'experts' that even if there was something of value or interest in amongst the hyped up deluge, I would not have known.

I had never heard of this movie until I saw it schedule on the SBS Movie channel on Australia. I briefly Google'd it and thought it might be worth a look. This film is an epic, a masterpiece and I'm tempted to say a work of genius. I can't believe that I was not aware of it before or that it isn't lauded as one of the greatest films of the 21st century. The production values are mind blowing, an absolute treat for the senses. I was riveted from start to finish.
