So I am a huge Winx Club Fan and have rewatched it atleast 4 times in my short life of 19 years. I do not re-watch shows and this show kind of has my heart. When The Fate released I was very very happy and excited. The show was good, upto the mark, but not brilliant. I understand that they are trying to capture a new type of audience and retain the old one, but certain aspects of the original show should have been retained. The first season is toooooo short. It didn't give enough time to show any team bonding. There could have been lessons they learnt where they were divided into groups like in the og show( the plant habitat). Stella and bloom are supposed to be best friends. They should have bonded after their little falling out. Properly. I didn't enjoy Riven's character unlike the og show. All the other characters are also missing a bit. Other than that where did the WITCHES go???!!!!!! Beatrix could have been a witch!!!!! They missed the biggest opportunity there for more show development and plot development. :( I feel like it was a bit rushed. I would consider development of characters a bit more, along with longer seasons. You could also release new episode every two weeks or so to keep the audience engaged.
