Love and addiction can be so very similar. This movie shows how one can be so dependent on the other. I like Ledgers acting -very realistic as to how am addict lies and manipulates to feed a habit, more so when love is being manipulated as well. A candid clip of addictions hold on the brain and how one becomes Uber focused on an item to escape one thing, only to become reliant on the item used to escape. A very true portrait of addiction. I’ve seen it up close, most of my life. It sucks in everything around you.
