John Ralston Paul has disassembled the components of our modern world and presents the absurdity of what is going on quite clearly. The situation in which we find ourselves and the creeping nature of the changes that have occurred, and why, is brilliantly presented. The reader is able to extract understanding from the text and isn't subjected to browbeating or absolute "truths". A truly subversive book!
