Excellent attempt, it was always going to be difficult to create a film from such epic, but the outcome was much better than I expected. The sea scene at the end was far too long, at least a good 5 minutes could have been saved and used in the பூங்குழலி, boat scene to enhance that wonderful part as written by the author. As per music, ரஹ்மான் has finally ensured that music does not overpower neither the lyrics nor the scene, very well done with good care. CGI is barely noticeable which is a good thing. My benchmark is movie KARNAN, by சிவாஜி கணேசன், sadly, the clarity, Standard of acting is a wee lacking in this movie, but still good nevertheless. They should have taken the time and created a 5 part film or at least 3 part film. Anyway a must watch film regardless. Best wishes to all.
